You might recall the dazzling save Jake Allen made for the St. Louis Blues earlier this week. Well, University of Denver goaltender Juho Olkinuora might steal the title for stick save of the year.

With Denver clinging to a 5-4 lead, Olkinuora made a big pad save on a point shot, but the rebound went right to the stick of North Dakota's Corban Knight with a completely open net.

Consider that Olkinuora was still recovering from giving up that rebound on the point shot and that Corban Knight, a Florida Panthers draft pick who has been on the CBSSports.com Hobey Baker Award Watch on more than one occasion is one of the elite players in college hockey.

The reflexes and athleticism (and maybe a little luck) it takes to make a save like that is just mind boggling.

Allen's was pretty great, but Olkinoura had to make two saves in quick succession and essentially saved the game for his team. Denver held on to beat North Dakota 5-4 and get a huge WCHA victory heading towards the postseason.
