WCHA Blogger Profiles DU Fan CO14ers

This may be the end of the internet as we know it. They have finally run out of things to write about.

Minnesota Duluth blogger Running With The Dogs profiled DU hockey fanatic CO14ers this week. The interview takes a long time to read and would not have been all that interesting, except that they spent a lot of time trashing your favorite blogger. No not Mike Chambers, me.

Actually the interview is pretty funny if you know and love CO14ers as much as we do. If you'd like to meet him, go to Spanky's before any DU home game and ask any waitress in a loud voice, "I'm here to deliver a subpoena, but I can't make out this name" and show it to her an envelope. CO14ers will be the first customer heading to the door.

50 Years Without A National Championship

As our friends at Colorado College prepare to celebrate their 50th Anniversary since CC won a National Championship (3/16/1957), we'll continue to provide coverage of the festivities in Colorado Springs.

We always enjoy the Blog Runnin' With The Dogs. Each week they profile and interview various fans around the WCHA and its always a good read. This week they profiled Blogger "CC Hockey," who writes CC Tiger Hockey Blog.

CC Tiger Hockey covers Scotty Owen's misadventures, CC's various losses against non-conference opponents and distracts the CC fans from the empty trophy case on East Cache La Poudre Street (I'm not kidding, that is actually the address of Colorado College). We were more than a little surprised that he admited reading our Blog regularly.

UMD Blog Interviews dg

You know its a slow news day in Duluth, Minnesota when they have to start interviewing smartass DU Hockey fans. After poking fun of everyone else in the past year, Runnin' With The Dogs Blog tricked me when she secretly recorded our "off the record conversation." I have a good mind to have Number Two call UMD and threaten a lawsuit.

Preseason WCHA All-Hottie Team

Runnin' With The Dogs Blog posts her annual breakdown of the best looking players in the WCHA. Her preseason anaylsis of each team is posted and a couple of DU Freshman have cracked the list. We can only hope that DU places a few players on the All-Hottie Team at the end of the year.

Carle & Blom Named to WCHA All-Hottie Team

The honors keep rolling in for Matt Carle. WCHA Player of the Year, WCHA Defensive Player of the Year and now he is named to the WCHA All-Hottie First Team by the Running With the Dogs Blog.

DU defenseman Zach Blom was named to the Third Team. This is the second consecutive season that Blom has been named to the team.
